The Elements of Art Poster

I designed this infographic poster for the art education training program for K-12 teachers in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. The core learning objective for the training was for participants to gain the knowledge and confidence to be ready to teach beginner art lessons in their classes right away. I wanted the infographic to be used for the training but double as a poster that could be hung in the classroom and referenced by students and teachers.

Step 1: Let's say you want to open a webpage. Once you click on the webpage, a signal travels from your user terminal to the satellite.

Step 2: The signal then travels from the satellite to the gateway terminal antenna where the data is processed.

Step 3: The processed data is then sent through fiber optic cables that are connected to the internet. In the example of you requesting to open a webpage, that signal would travel through the cables to an internet server that would then find the webpage.

Step 4: Once the webpage is found, that data is sent from the internet, through the fiber optic cables, and back to the gateway terminal. From there it is sent back to the satellite.

Step 5: Finally, the satellite sends the webpage data to the user terminal and it loads on your device.

I created these graphics to show how we provide internet to our users at Astranis. The graphics were included in Astranis 101, a 5 course learning series for all new employees that covers how Astranis builds, launches, and operates satellites. Some of the material was also included in marketing material for prospective customers.

Stitch Fix LMS Logo

These are two logo concept designs I created for a new Learning Management System at Stitch Fix. I gravitated toward the circle and stitched line as a nod to the company’s original logo and opted for a clean, lowercase font from their branding guide for a fresh, modern look.

Seismic Workbook

I created this workbook for participants attending our in-person learning session on Content Personalization. I also created a slide deck presentation and facilitator guide for the session. This learning session was eventually turned into an ongoing webinar series and supported one of the most important product launches at Seismic.

Solano College American Sign Language Department

I teamed up with the American Sign Language department at Solano Community College to create a fresh look and new logo. They wanted something modern and fun. Three key words the department emphasized were: confidence, caring, and diversity. I created several logo and branding options for the department that illustrated these ideas.

MOGA: Mobility Yoga

This Canadian-based company focuses on the healing power of yoga and mindful movement. The client expressed that the logo should embody themes based on sacred geometry, ancient symbols, and "the seed of life." The seed of life is the symbol of overlapping circles seen at the top of the design and is said to open up one's intuition and creativity. The repeated triangle theme and design formed by the M and Y represents sacred geometry and ancient symbolism which is at the heart of MOGA's mission statement.

I created this one-pager for Google, one of our top clients at Seismic. The simple design allowed thousands of their sales team members to easily download the Seismic app and get the most value from our product faster.

Solano College Theatre

The Solano College Theatre underwent a major reconstruction, staffing changes, and began to change the overarching mission of the theater program. Along with these changes the theater department decided to update their logo to something more modern and clear with the same color scheme to keep some of the past identity of the theater.
